About
I am a native of Louisville Kentucky and a graduate of Louisville Male High School. This is the same school which claims both Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis and “Gonzo” journalist Hunter S. Thompson as outstanding alums. I was a “great” high school football player . I was on the same Scholastic Magazine All American football team as Johnson City Tennessee quarterback, Steve Spurrier. I grew up in the same neighborhood and attended school and summer camp with Muhammad Ali and as a boy used to watch Johnny Unitas and Paul Hornung practice.
I attended the University of Michigan on an athletic scholarship and received both a bachelors and masters degree there. I also received a Ph. D. degree from Brandeis University. Maybe I did so well in graduate school because I went to the same high school as Justice Brandeis.
I spent about thirty years as a professor and administrator in a number of colleges and universities. I have been active in a variety of civic and political groups.

Hi Jim
I’m a single parent of a talented baseball player located in a New York suburb. We live in Bay Shore Long Island. My son and I have experienced racism at some of the most disgusting level in this town with regard to baseball. He is 15 years old and has been training with professionals and semi professional for the last four years. We have recently been disappointed by an all white team. We were supposed to play on this team for summer ball until the time of my last payment when they wanted to place him on the “B” team. My son is not a “B” level athlete . We declined and asked for a refund .
Are you aware of any team or programs that are diverse in our area?
Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated
Thank you in advance
Daphane

I would love to know when or is the basketball camp starting this year?
